St. Ignace, Northern Michigan photographer. Elite Senior portraits 2014
We had an amazing senior session tonight! It was a bit precarious in some spots (i.e. a narrow hike with a 40lb backpack up a rocky ledge!), but it was unique and adventurous which I LOVE! I’m always up for a challenge. :)
Angela is a senior in St. Ignace this year and one of Studio 410‘s Senior Elite representatives. She’s not only gorgeous on camera, but she has the best sense of humor! Oh, if only I could show some out-takes! haha
It has been a whirlwind this year so far. I have been immensely blessed in business and life in 2014. I have had the opportunity to photograph a wide range of sessions and events, opened a photography studio in Northern Michigan, and gained many personal victories. Here is a little bit of my journey so far this year:
January my brother and his lovely wife tied the knot. I was honored to photograph their special day.
Shortly after, my sister got engaged to her sweetheart. We are preparing for her August 16th wedding in which I am the maid of honor!
In March, I was honored to travel to Las Vegas and attend a conference called WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International). What a joy it was to meet and work alongside some very talented photographers and hear some amazing speakers. We had 4 very full days of shooting in the Valley of Fire, Nelson, and Lake Las Vegas. Our group of 12 photographers was also accompanied by some gorgeous models and talented HMUAs. What an experience! (Special thanks to Damein at Streets of Las Vegas photography for this photo of all of us!)
In May, another talented photographer, Jamie Trost (Digital Storybook Photography) and I decided Northern Michigan needed a boutique photography studio and opened one downtown Cheboygan. Studio 410 is located right next to the Kingston Theatre at 410 N. Main Street. We are open for appointments or if you’d just like to stop in and see our work! In the future we would like to hold workshops and even some show and tell with other photographers in the surrounding areas! We are very lucky to have such a great space to work in… and a great town to support us!
Also this year was a journey in homeschooling my oldest and supporting my husband as he completes his nursing degree (one more year!). My biggest blessing is being able to “work from home” so I can spend quality time with my children. All in all a very successful 2014 so far! Thank you so much for following and supporting my journey! - Lindsey
