Many of my newly engaged couples choose northern Michigan as their destination wedding location. Some have a hard time finding and planning their weddings when they don’t quite know where to start. When you look back on your wedding, fond memories and pictures will be what you take away from the experience (but most importantly, a “happily ever after” with your spouse!) I am very much a visual person (photographer- could you guess?!) and with my years of working as a wedding photographer, I wanted to highlight my experience working with them from a photographic standpoint. My goal in this to is help clients get inspiration and access to our local vendors and also to promote our local businesses in the area.
Yesterday, my daughter Luna and I had the privilege to join many other talented vendors from our local area for the Mackinaw City Bridal Show. Not only was it a great event for those couples looking to plan their Up North Wedding, but an excellent resource for local vendors to network with one another as well! Luna was a great assistant, helping me set up and tear down our table and bring me tasty samples from our host, Audie’s Restaurant. (more about their event location in an upcoming post!)
